Cyma is a brand that boasts a long and accomplished history in the watch world. The company was founded by two brothers in 1862 and still makes watches today. At one point, Cyma had the largest workshop in Europe, producing 4,000 watches a day. Quality, rivaling the likes of Rolex and Omega, was not compromised for quantity though, as Cyma won first prize at the World Fair and the International Barcelona Exposition for its achievements. This is because since its inception Cyma has definitively sold quality, luxury watches. In fact, its watches in the 1950’s retailed for anywhere between $400-$25,000 in today’s money, and you’d be hard pressed to find one today for anything less than $500. This Cyma Triplex features an elegant white sunburst dial accented by gold hour markers and hands which contrast the dial beautifully. The most exciting part of the design, however, might just be the subseconds feature, which is perhaps one of the coolest vintage design features and one which we don’t see much of anymore. This watch will definitely stand out from the crowd in both design and quality, and sports a truly storied and established name in the watch world.

What To Know
All of our watches keep good vintage time (within a few minutes per day) and have to meet a high standard of condition, both mechanically and aesthetically, to be included in our inventory. These watches are several decades old, and wear the battle scars of their many years of service with pride, giving each one its own unique character. Each watch is one of a kind, and once this one is sold there will never be another one exactly like it.
