WWII era Benrus
Sometimes a description is necessary - other times, the watch sells itself. This watch truly needs no description. Just look at the dial. I can probably count on two hands the number of times that I have seen such a stunning tropical dial - and the ones that I’m thinking of cost about as much as a small house. Dials like this started out black; over time, harsh solar rays, probably from a long vacation the watch took to the tropics, and just the right amount of water intrusion faded the dial’s lacquer to the gorgeous brown tones you see today. The wonderfully preserved case and original Benrus signed crown are just icing on the cake.

What To Know
All of our watches keep good vintage time (within a few minutes per day) and have to meet a high standard of condition, both mechanically and aesthetically, to be included in our inventory. These watches are several decades old, and wear the battle scars of their many years of service with pride, giving each one its own unique character. Each watch is one of a kind, and once this one is sold there will never be another one exactly like it.
