How long does shipping take?
Shipping within the USA generally takes less than three days post-shipment. We ship with USPS and provide tracking free of charge. International shipping times and prices vary based on the country, but you are welcome to opt for a faster shipping method for an additional charge.
What is your return policy?
Each watch comes with a thirty day worry-free return policy. If for whatever reason you find yourself not satisfied with your purchase within thirty days after receiving it you may return it to us for a full refund. We'll even pay for the shipping. If the item is damaged or modified in any way within this thirty day period, returns will not be accepted. Returns are not accepted for watches that keep imperfect time, which would be, well, all of them. The vintage watches we carry are not officially certified chronometers (although they may have been 50 years ago) just as they are not waterproof (although they may have been 50 years ago).
Are your watches serviced?
Some are and some aren't. If we receive a watch we deem worthy of stocking in our store that is keeping good vintage time (within a few minutes per day) and shows no mechanical issues, we will opt not to service it. If the same watch encounters any issues while we have it in stock, we will solve the problem before selling it. If we receive a watch that is keeping poor time or has aesthetic issues, we will have the watch serviced and/or repaired to be suitable for sale.
Who are Curtis and Richard?
Curtis and Richard are actually our last names! We spent a hell of a lot of time trying to come up with a unique name for our store, but at the end of the day we decided that there's nothing more timeless than your own name. Hopefully, one day we will pass the company on to our children, at which point it will be renamed "Curtis+Richard & Sons/Daughters." Granted, that's not quite as catchy.
