The Understated Classic
Rolex has the Submariner, Omega has the Seamaster, and Bulova has the Sea-King. The Sea-King is identifiable by the whale logo, which legend says is a tribute to the whalers of Sag Harbor, where Bulova watch cases were made. This particular example is noticeably more dressy than its aforementioned counterparts, which is hard not to love. The crosshair dial, the contrasting gold and black details, and the applied indices all ooze quality. This isn’t surprising, as Bulova was at the forefront of watchmaking at the time - their tuning-fork powered accutron movement had just been declared among the 44 most innovative objects invented in the last 25 years.

What To Know
All of our watches keep good vintage time (within a few minutes per day) and have to meet a high standard of condition, both mechanically and aesthetically, to be included in our inventory. These watches are several decades old, and wear the battle scars of their many years of service with pride, giving each one its own unique character. Each watch is one of a kind, and once this one is sold there will never be another one exactly like it.
